Newark Receives Grant Funding to Revitalize Public Spaces, Increase Foot Traffic

NEWARK – Invest Newark, on behalf of the city, received $7 million from the state’s Urban Investment Fund Grant Program to embark on various revitalization projects, including the creation of Newark’s Walk of Fame. 

The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) announced the awarding of $7 million in grant funding to Newark during a special meeting on Monday, Feb. 24.
